¿QUÉ ES?

Se trata de una placa de prueba también conocida como Breadboard. Esta placa fue diseñada para realizar prototipos temporales de diseños electrónicos y de circuitos de prueba, para evitar o posponer el uso de soldadura hasta que sea necesario.

La mayoría de los componentes electrónicos pueden ser interconectados por medio de sus terminales. También podemos hacer uso de alambres o jumpers para otras conexiones cuando corresponda.

¿CÓMO SE USA?

Esta placa la podemos separar en 2 áreas, el área o buses de alimentación y el área de pruebas, cuenta con pistas ordenadas en base a una matriz, donde las filas son nombradas de “A” hasta “J” y columnas numeradas cada 5 unidades con una separación en el canal central.

La placa de prueba cuenta con conductores en su interior, las cuales están conformadas por tiras de metal debajo de sus terminales sobre las cuales podremos trabajar.

Debemos tener en cuenta que existen varios modelos, para este ejemplo el protoboard cuenta con una desconexión entre sus columnas de alimentación, para unirlas podemos hacer uso de cables, alambres o jumper, lo mismo aplica para llevar la alimentación hacia las filas o área de prueba.
